| Significance |
This is one of the oldest buildings in the District Council of Hallett, and is associated with a significant pioneering pastoralist in the area. Despite the building's relative simplicity and use of local materials, it presents strong classically-inspired design and proportions, and is a relatively sophisticated example of a frontier homestead of the 1850s. |
