Significance This site is representative of the more isolated farming enterprises on Kangaroo Island at the turn of the century. Construction materials used in the buildings are gleaned from a variety of sources in the surrounding area, including shipwreck timbers, and reflect the hardships of farming life on the Island at the time (HSA, 2/2000).
