Significance |
This station complex is one of the earliest on the northern coast of Kangaroo Island and contains a group of well preserved vernacular structures. The huge mulberry tree (Morus nigra) is a significant specimen, both for its age (it is believed to have been planted in the 1870s) and size (with a canopy of over 28 metres) (HSA, 2/2000). |
