Registered Name Threshing Floor between Ironstone Hill and Alex's Lookout
Significance There have been few threshing floors so far recorded in South Australia and only a handful survive fairly intact. Kangaroo Island was an ideal location for the construction of such distinctive farming artefacts close to both harvest and the sea and it appears that the best such threshing floors have survived here.
