Significance The Wynn's Coonawarra Estate cellar and winery is an outstanding building, simple and functional in design with decorative detailing in the gable timbers and finials and in the rendered quoining around windows, doorways and on the buttresses. It represents the establishment of the Coonawarra Fruit Colony, a group of workers' blocks created by John Riddoch on his estate in the 1890s.
