Designed by Adelaide architect Russell Ellis for the Wright family, who still own the property, the house at 3 Meadowvale Road, is an outstanding example of the 'International Style' of domestic architecture and demonstrates Ellis' philosophy in architectural design. This house was one of the first of its kind to be built in South Australia and introduced this modern approach to house building to this State. |
