Details (Known As) |
Eddie Pumpa Outstation including Outbuilding, Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park |
Registered Name |
Eddie Pumpa Outstation |
Significance |
The Outstation in the Aroona Valley, occupied by Eddie Pumpa and his family, is architecturally significant as a good example of large scale pug and pine construction. In addition it is historically important as Sir Hans Heysen spent several weeks there in 1927 within walking distance from some of the finest painting spots in the Flinders Ranges - Brachina Creek and Brachina Gorge.
