Where have the datasets come from?
The Drainage Plans Map Viewer allows a user to display data collected by State Government agencies over a variety of base maps.
The content of these base maps has been provided by a number of sources internal and external to Government. Some data has been collected by organisations contracted to Government under arrangements that permit its use in solutions like the Location SA Map Viewer.
A base map may be made up of data obtained from a number of diverse sources. The 'Satellite' base map includes aerial imagery acquired by Government and by organisations that make satellite imagery available for use in the public domain under certain conditions.
The Drainage Plans Map Viewer uses imagery made available by Esri's ArcGIS Online World Imagery service. This includes data provided by Esri, DigitalGlobe, Earthstar Geographics, CNES/Airbus DS, GeoEye, USDA FSA, USGS, Getmapping, Aerogrid, IGN, IGP, swisstopo, and the GIS User Community.
