St James Anglican Church |
Registered Name |
St James Anglican Church |
Significance |
St James Church, Delamere has important cultural significance as both a sign of the prosperity of the district in the 1870s and the efforts of the local rural community to erect a place of worship in their midst. The building has great aesthetic qualities in its simple proportions and eleven windows, the east window being the work of Ferguson and Urie of Melbourne in 1889. |
