DESCRIPTION |
Details (Known As) |
Executor Trustee Building |
Registered Name |
Trustee Building |
Significance |
The Trustee building is an excellent example of the post-war functional style of architecture on a minor scale, indicated by the use of cubiform shape, simple framing of large fenestrated areas and the use of contrasting colour and texture in the facade treatment. The building reflects the spread of government services to the regional centres of South Australia (Mt Gambier Heritage Survey, 1994). |
