Details (Known As) |
Former Rock Tavern |
Registered Name |
Former Rock Tavern |
Significance |
With the initial single-storey building on the site constructed in the early 1850s and two-storey extensions added in the 1880s, the former Rock Tavern is of heritage value as a good example of the growth and development of inns during the period of the early 1850s to the 1880s. It is also a reminder of the fact that the village of Third Creek was once a thriving settlement at what was then the edge of Adelaide. |
