Significance |
These buildings are a relatively rare example of the shop/house combination dating from the early 1860s. They are of particular interest as an unusual architectural solution to the commercial and residential combination. The shops represent the early development of Mount Torrens. (Gumeracha Heritage Survey, 1994). |
