Pise Cottage |
| Registered Name |
Pise Cottage |
| Significance |
This building is a well preserved example of an early (c 1850s) pise cottage which retains many original features, including shingle roof, pise walls and external joinery. Pise was a common building method in the early years of the settlement of South Australia, and although a number of pise buildings remain today, there are few which are of such high integrity.
