Registered Name |
Bundaleer Reservoir Tower, Two Aqueducts, Three Weirs, Channel Systems and Reservoir Keeper's House |
Significance |
The Bundaleer Reservoir system, completed in 1902 to supply the northern Yorke Peninsula, demonstrates the importance of water storage and supply as mining and rural development expanded across South Australia. Relatively intact, it is an excellent example of an early 19th century hydraulic engineering scheme (SHB Assessment Report, 9/1995). |
