The Hamilton's Ewell Vineyards winery comprises a rare example of the development of wine making technology in South Australia in the mid-20th century. The wine making processes represented by the equipment in this winery, considered innovative for their time, are no longer current. It is the only winery remaining in South Australia known to retain evidence of such processes and equipment (SHB Assessment Report, 12/1994). |
