Significance |
This farm group includes several stages of dwelling construction forming an interesting representative German farm. The earliest house built c.1850, is of particular significance as it contains one of the few surviving examples of a closed-passage black kitchen ('Schwartz Kuche') and is possibly the only example still with a straw thatched roof. |
