Significance St Aidan's Anglican Church is significant as a rare example of High Victorian Gothic utilising polychromatic brickwork rarely used in South Australia, although much more common in Victoria. The internal and external brick polychromy and the form of wide nave with inside aisles is typical of this style. (Payneham Heritage Survey 1998).
