DESCRIPTION
Details (Known As) Dwelling ('Vale House'), Levi Park
Registered Name Dwelling ('Vale House'), Levi Park
Significance Built in the early years of the settlement of South Australia, 'Vale House' has been associated with several of the State's more notable residents, including W R S Cooke and William Henry Clark, founder of the West End Brewery. The most significant owner of 'Vale House' was Philip Levi, who was influential in the development of the State's pastoral industry in the mid-nineteenth century. (HSA 9/1999)
