| Significance |
The 1894 stone and red brick chimney from the original pumping station for irrigation at the Waikerie Village commune is well preserved and stands today on a cliff top lookout as a symbol of the origins and prosperity of the town. The chimney is one of only two remaining boiler stacks from the original village settlements along the upper River Murray in South Australia. |
